Curriculum:

Dr. Enes Ünal is currently a Lecturer in Circular Economy & Innovation at the Centre for Competitive Creative Design (C4D) in Cranfield University, UK. C4D at Cranfield is an internationally recognized and award-winning centre of excellence for creative design, strategy and leadership. Enes has completed his PhD at Politecnico di Milano, School of Management under the European Doctorate in Industrial Management (EDIM) scheme.
Enes got his bachelor at the Middle East Technical University (METU), Turkey with honours. He started working on the domain of innovation management, circular business models and entrepreneurship since 2011. In 2013, Enes had his MSc. degree in Global Innovation Management from Hamburg University of Technology and Strathclyde University (Glasgow) as a joint Erasmus Mundus degree with scholarship. Particularly, entrepreneurship and innovation management incorporating sustainability attracted his interest as he believes the goal of business should be geared towards social and environmental benefits besides economic benefits.
Enes has done research on Circular Business Model Innovation mostly with a focus on manufacturing industry. In particular, he studied the value creation and capture through circular economy oriented innovations. Enes has published many peer-reviewed scientific articles in well-known strategy and management journals. He recently started working on the synergy between Industry 4.0 and Circular Business Model Innovation. In addition, Enes works with companies in different industries who are willing to design circular business models, products and processes.
